Hi again everyone! I really appreciate the support I have gotten from my itch.io community. I would just once again really like to encourage you to try the game on my hosted site. There I am able to make frequent rapid updates. I am able to test everything much more extensively to avoid issues, something I have limited ability to do within itch.io due to the iframing etc
The experience truly is much more seamless and I have specially added a button within the itch.io version to port your save so no progress is lost. I hope to see you on that side! I will eventually update itch but it really is a lot of work to do so and since this is a passion project for me I cant always justify the additional time spent I really hope everyone can understand. Thank you again and I am truly so grateful anybody enjoys my game I worked so hard to build and I personally play daily myself :)

Please also feel free to reach out via the email listed on the contact page with any bugs, concerns, issues, balance tweaks or even new ideas for the game. I cant say everything will be addressed in the exact way you might like but I am always open to feedback.

Hey, thanks for writing here. I actually play on your website but it is nice to be able to chat with other people here and to see where everyone's struggling. 

I have stopped playing for now as the shroom cost goes up too quickly for all upgrades when I buy one, and I don't see how I can reach the next prestige layer this way. The exchange feature is nice once in a while but quickly becomes useless, even with the workers. Also, I think the bonus of the workers could be written better, because for example the damage upgrade from workers seemed extremely low but it's actually a multiplicative bonus, not additive, and it did help a little.

Edit: Also, where can we read the change log from your website? I see new features but I would love to have the list of them all.

Hi again, I'm so glad to hear that thank you. The game is a constant work in progress and I really do take any and all feedback to heart so I appreciate it very much. I will probably add a changelog to the front page soon. In terms of shroom pricing I will take another look at the scaling but I can't promise any changes since myself and other players have reached reborn with the current version. That being said it doesnt mean its perfect of course and so as I said I will certainly take a look. Thanks again for playing and giving your feedback.

Hey I've started playing today and I really enjoy the game, I was looking for a new Clicker Heroes, so thanks for that :)

However, there really is an issue about scaling: the crystal gain is fine at first but after a few hundred levels it doesn't go up really quick, and the upgrade becomes really expensive for a low increase. 

I'm trying to reach lvl 500 but I'm only boosting my best DPS (Golem so far) with dragon shards and the resets are not really fun as there isn't anything new actually. Also, I was wondering if the dragon shards could boost the gold boost of the heroes or if it's only the DPS? It doesn't seem so but it's not really clear in the description.

It would be nice to be able to see all the upgrades we bought for each hero, to see which ones are useful for buffs, which ones have the best DPS upgrades.


Edit: I am now over lvl 500, but the exchange unlock was quite the disappointment. Now it seems like I need to dragon up a lot just to earn enough to shard a hero once.

Trying to test the new content, but the exchange doesn't work and neither do the first 2 star upgrades. I can't click on them. I believe the hitboxes are either not there or too small to click. I say this because the last 2 star upgrades were usable only if my mouse was on a single pixel, same with the shop menu tab and crystal upgrades. The click boxes are way too small and only on the very left side of the buttons. Also, the "Assign" buttons for work after lvl 1500 don't work.

Hey, how did you reach lvl 1500? It moves really slowly for me after 600, I can barely give one dragon shard upgrade to Golem (6 so far) after Dragon Up, and the next heroes don't have good damage multipliers.

your primary damage dealer should be the Assassin. Dragon rank him up, and mushroom him ASAP. Literally no other character can match his dps

Assassin has 5*7*15 = 525 multiplier, while Golem has 2*4*8*12 = 768 multiplier, so the Golem is a better DPS. Does the difference in dragon shards cost make up for that base difference?

I got some shrooms now, but it's tiring to restart again every time, the mushroom cost goes up too quickly.

Just tried. Both shroomed up, 14 dragon shards for Assassin, 12 for Golem, the price is now about the same, maybe I could put Assassin at 15. But Assassin's DPS is e80, while Golem's is e118. I didn't expect such a big difference, but my first choice was right :)

Now I need 1.1e6 shrooms for the best upgrades and earning 4e4 per reset at lvl 1600 :(


Edit: actually the Wizard is the best when you can buy him his last upgrade. He has a total 2000 multiplier. Phoenix will be the best DPS as soon as I can get him lvl 1000: 11250 multiplier.

Hi, I have been waiting for an update and it finally came which made me so happy. The thing is when you wrote gold crystals and shards gets exponentially higher after 300 I think crystals and gold remain the same I don't know maybe its just me. Can you check it please thank you.

Hi there, I'm so glad you have been enjoying the game. In the current itch.io version I believe this is still the case. Gold should be increasing much faster in levels above 300 than it was previously. This is base gold of course so the various multipliers will still be your go to for gold gains. In terms of crystals the higher exponential gain is active in the current itch.io version but my main site (which is easier to update and so gets updates first) has a reworked crystal system where crystal gain has been slowed overall but the multiplier from crystal spores has instead been heavily buffed. I highly recommend playing on the base site, the new button inside of the itch.io version should be able to port your save to the main site. I tend to wait until many updates have happened before accumulating them inside of a single larger patch for itch.io, totally up to you though thank you for being a loyal player and I hope you continue to enjoy it! All of that being said I do also want to support my community on itch.io so I will package an update for the latest version soon!

With the new Dragon Prestige and current progression rates, I must say this is becoming my favorite incremental on itch. I still see alot of potential in the future, and think you're going in the right direction.

I'm so happy to hear that! I was very happy with how the new Dragon up System turned out so I am very happy you are as well! I hope to continue to build on it.

Gold scaling is a bit lagging. Even with the dragon upgrades, The Dwarf is the primary Gold Booster but isnt enough. I think after level 300 the base gold per enemy doesn't go up very much so you gain very little gold per enemy more at lvl 800 than you do at 300. 

Thanks yes I have been looking at changing the gold scaling for quite a while but was hesitant to do so. Need to figure out the right scaling still, apologies. Also have another layer of progression in the works which I believe will spice the game up yet again a similar amount or more than the dragon shard update did. I hope you stay tuned for those! I had no trouble with farming lower levels. However, Progression becomes extremely slow after level 100, which is also when you can prestige. You get 1 crystal for every 10 levels you beat, However, you can only get the crystal for each 10 levels once. Basically, you reach a hard cap in progress, because the enemies scale at an insane rate, but you don't have the crystals to boost gold or DPS.

Either the enemies need to scale much much slower, or we need to be able to farm the crystals repeatedly. It's a great and fun game, but as it is, you can't do any real progression past level 120

Prestige has been totally reworked now with more upgrades and abilities and is much more rewarding. I hope you can give it another go!

I've been playing though the updates, and the only real issue I have with the game is the level requirements to prestige. Basically making it impossible to farm crystals. 

If you try to push ahead to earn more crystals, you will have to push even farther on the next prestige. This means the player has no choice but to do the bare minimum prestige every time, otherwise they get soft locked behind massive walls. 

The scaling on how much crystal upgrades cost goes up a bit too much in comparison to how many crystals you can actually get. when considering the level requirements for prestiging. 

So to get more crystal per prestige level I need 486 crystals, but that means I have to prestige twice to be able to buy it. This means I can't spend on other upgrades to help me get to the higher levels needed to be able to prestige and have to spend 2 days farming gold to level up my heroes. The  Involved Leader skill resets when you refresh or go offline, so I also have to leave the game open in it own window, which regularly crashes out.


P.S.- Please list what the actual changes are you make to the game. As of now, I really can't tell what you did.

Again, thank you for the feedback. Actively looking into improving this system without totally breaking balance either. With clicker games it can be a fine balance haha! I really value the time you have put in and any other players so I want to make it feel worth the time you have put in. I will make the dev notes more thorough moving forward. In terms of the crashes I'm sorry to hear that, from internal data I think the issue could be to do with the games performance running in the itch.io Iframe itself but unsure at this time. I did make a performance tweak recently but I plan to keep improving the game as best I can!

Farming doesn't work. Can't enter any number in pop-up window.

Turns out it does work, but the numbers I type in the pop-up window aren't visible.

Very odd. If possible could you DM me some more information about your browser,  operating system, and also any extensions you may have for example dark mode enforcing type extensions can mess with colours etc so I can try work out whats going on? I would love to fix this for you and anyone else that may be experiencing this issue!
